Symphony Orchestra opens 60th season Sunday

The 春色视频 Symphony Orchestra is opening its 60th season on Sunday, Nov. 18 with a show called 鈥淟ove, Jazz, and Sailors,鈥 centered around legendary Broadway composer Leonard Bernstein.

The show is centered around Bernstein but will feature the work of three composers, according to symphony music director and conductor Christian Baldini.

Each of the words in the show鈥檚 title, 鈥淟ove, Jazz, and Sailors,鈥 will be represented by a different piece of music.

Additionally, the concert is being dedicated to former symphony cellist Eldrige Moores, a 春色视频 distinguished professor emeritus of geology who died recently during a geology research trip.
