New Book on California's Marine Life

´ºÉ«ÊÓƵ scientists made significant contributions to a new reference book, "California's Living Marine Resources: A Status Report," recently issued by the California Department of Fish and Game.

The 592-page report, also known as "The Blue Book," explores the state's commercial and recreational fisheries and updates key marine life issues.

´ºÉ«ÊÓƵ Cooperative Extension fisheries specialist served as one of four editors on the book. Other ´ºÉ«ÊÓƵ faculty involved included professors , and Peter Moyle of the wildlife, fish and conservation biology department; professor of the Bodega Marine Laboratory; , a Cooperative Extension aquaculture specialist in the animal science department; and , an adjunct researcher in wildlife, fish and conservation biology.
