Adele Zhang, a lecturer in the Department of Design, hopes to change that with “Shape Up: Case Studies in Fashion Making.” The exhibition turns garments inside out to show their structure, and runs at the ��ɫ��Ƶ Design Museum through Dec. 8.

There are a few days left to see the beautiful Japanese textiles in Tekunikku: The Art of Japanese Textile Making at the ��ɫ��Ƶ Design Museum. This exhibition offers an exploration of Japan’s iconic textile design methods featuring fabrics and garments from ��ɫ��Ƶ alumna Catherine Cerny’s extensive collection. The exhibition opened the ��ɫ��Ƶ Design Museum’s 2018-2019 season running through Dec. 9

EXHIBITIONS: Into Winter Quarter We Go

The Jan Shrem and Manetti Shrem Museum of Art’s inaugural exhibitions are staying up into the new year, with varying closing dates, and the museum itself is the subject of the Design Museum’s winter quarter exhibition, opening Monday, Jan. 9. The C.N. Gorman Museum’s winter exhibition, Protest & Prayer, will open Tuesday, Jan. 10.
